The University of the Cordilleras continues to champion cultural appreciation and creative expression by providing meaningful public access to exhibitions, galleries, and artistic showcases. Through initiatives led by the Center for Creative Productions (CCP), the University remains committed to preserving heritage, promoting creativity, and engaging the broader community in cultural learning.
CordeMayo 2024: Photo Exhibit
As part of the opening of CordeMayo 2024, UC hosted a public photo exhibit featuring traditional attire from the six provinces of the Cordillera Region. The exhibit displayed stunning images by Eros Goze featuring traditional attire from the six provinces of the Cordillera Region modeled by the students. This exhibition not only celebrated the artistry of traditional clothing but also served as an accessible learning space for students, faculty, and guests to appreciate Cordilleran heritage up close.
CHED Zonal Creativity Summit 2024: Cultural Collaboration
Further strengthening UC’s commitment to cultural accessibility, the CCP participated in the CHED Zonal Creativity Summit 2024, where their exhibit earned the prestigious title of Best Exhibit Champion on October 19, 2024. The award-winning showcase highlighted innovative presentations and creative installations that illustrated the artistic potential of the Cordillera. By opening the exhibit to attendees from various institutions, UC extended cultural learning beyond its own community, fostering collaboration and exchange among educators, artists, and students.
