On February 27 and 28, 2025, the University of the Cordilleras – Center for Creative Productions (UC-CCP) brought vibrant energy and cultural pride to the streets of Baguio with Sining na Buhay and SAYTURA: Sayaw at Kultura ng Pilipinas, two captivating performances held during the Session Road in Bloom, part of the city’s grand Panagbenga Flower Festival.
Sining na Buhay
The UC Percussion and Orchestra, Chorale, and Featured Artists delivered a dynamic performance featuring a diverse repertoire of songs. Their set included beloved Original Pilipino Music (OPM) selections as well as popular international hits, showcasing both local talent and global musical influences.

SAYTURA – Sayaw at Kultura ng Pilipinas
The UC Dance Company transported audiences on a colourful and immersive journey through the Philippines’ rich cultural landscape. From the graceful elegance of Maria Clara dances to the joyful rhythms of Rural traditions and the powerful, expressive movements of Muslim dance, the performance honoured the nation’s diverse cultural heritage and inspired pride in Filipino identity.

Aligning with Global Goals
These performances align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. By promoting arts education, cultural literacy, and inclusive public engagement, UC-CCP reinforces the role of culture in holistic learning and community development. Events like Sining na Buhay and SAYTURA transform public spaces into platforms for cultural exchange, fostering civic pride and unity.
Supporting UC-CCP’s Key Result Area
These initiatives also directly support the Center’s Key Result Area 1, Goal 2 (KRA1 G2), which aims to sustain active participation in external activities that promote and embody UC’s cultural identity.
