Paskuhan sa UC 2025

On December 2, 2025, the University of the Cordilleras’ Center for Creative Productions held its annual Christmas event entitled “Paskuhan sa UC” at the University of the Cordilleras Gate 1. The event aimed to celebrate the true spirit of Christmas and bring joy to the entire university community.

The event opened with a lively front act by the Percussion Group, who performed a 10-minute festive drum pettern to energize the audience and gather attention. This was followed by an intermission performance from the Saeng Ya Kasay Cultural Ensemble, presenting the Christmas song “Ningning ni Disyembre.”

The highlight of the evening was the collaborative performance by the Featured Artist, Dance Company, and Chorale, who artistically depicted the nativity of Jesus Christ through beloved songs such as Silent Night, O Holy Night, Carol of the Bells, We Three Kings, and Hallelujah. The presentation vividly portrayed the journey from the serene night in Bethlehem to the moment of Jesus’ birth and the visit of the three kings. As the program progressed, the Percussion and Orchestra and the Chorale performed Joy to the World, leading into the lighting of the University’s Christmas lights, which filled the venue with a joyful and festive spirit. Before the evening concluded, the Percussion and Orchestra delighted the audience with performances of Pasko Na Naman and Sleigh Ride, recalling the Nativity is important because it reminds people of the true meaning of Christmas. The birth of Jesus Christ and the values it represents, such as love, humility, hope, and peace. It encourages reflection on faith and inspires compassion and kindness in daily life.

The closing performance featured OPM celebration songs, including the VST Medley and Eraserheads Medley, which the audience greatly enjoyed. Through this event, the University of the Cordilleras highlighted the importance of cultural expression and the arts, supporting SDG 4:Quality Education. Paskuhan sa UC once again proved to be more than just a concert, it was a meaningful celebration of unity, creativity, and the joy of Christmas.
